Haggie is the granddaughter of renowned Kunibidji artist Joy Garlbin. Her mother is Joy’s eldest daughter, Athena. 

Haggie’s grandmothers country on her fathers side is Manmoyi.

As a child, she spent time fishing in the freshwater rivers around Manmoyi Outstation. 

Haggie is an aspiring artist who has started printing lino as well as screen printing at Babbarra Designs. She often depicts the Kuninjku mythological creature, Namorrorddo (Shooting star Spirit) in her designs.
