Copyright and licensing
If you want to use an image of an artwork or design by an artist who is represented by Bábbarra Women’s Centre, you need to request an image licence and you may need to pay a fee. This applies to all uses of the image, including in an article, book, film, merchandise, advertisement or any kind of online publication.
Viscopy manages copyright licensing requests on behalf of the artists represented by Maningrida Arts & Culture. If you want to obtain an image licence or you have copyright enquiries about artwork by artists from the Maningrida region, please contact Viscopy.
It is very important to us that you are happy with your purchase. If not, we will refund you for the value of the artwork, minus the freight costs. You must notify the art centre within 10 days of receiving the artwork if you are not fully satisfied. You need only pay the cost of returning the painting to the art centre. The artwork must be returned in its original condition with all of its accompanying documentation for the guarantee to apply.
Bábbarra Women’s Centre works to ensure that all items for purchase on the website are available and correctly priced. Enquiries about artwork will be addressed as soon as possible to confirm availability; however, on occasion, power outages and other impediments of our remote location mean that we may not always be able to respond in a timely manner.
